when you say touchless are you referring to the bubble? if so you put moisture eaters inside the bubble to rid moisture.

the main purpose people use outdoor covers is protection from UV, dead leaves/sap, bird crap. not so much light scratches/swirls.

i use a dust cover on my G when hibernating inside my garage. main purpose is to prevent spiders and bugs from residing in the side mirrors and other nooks/crannies. hahahaha. and not being exposed to salt dust/oily residue when the garage is open.
