Thumbs down Review: Whiteline Front anti-roll bar

Rating:
- Three thumbs down
- Remember that Adam Sandler CD where he had the "piece of sh*t car" song? Read on...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Review:
The Whiteline anti-roll bar is a solid piece, not hollow, so its heavy.
- If you give a crap about a couple pounds THAT low on the body, please show me your lap times that prove it made a difference...

It comes with the necessary hardware to install and even a grease packet

They come with "lateral locks" which are pretty much clamps to prevent the bar from moving. Neat trick.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

HOWEVER...
The lateral locks also provide the excellent service of REMOVING the bushing from the FU*K#&^ bracket while you drive.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Summary:
  • DO NOT BUY this product for the 370z until Whiteline develops a better way to manage their bushings.
  • The Whiteline Anti-Roll bar feels wonderful.
  • The steering is crisp like inhaling the first bit of a Sprite when you open it.
  • They need a better system to manage their bushings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Update 1 week later
Whiteline bar is now uninstalled and the OEM bar is back on the car.

Whiteline support has found another vehicle's bushing which has the appropriate lip to keep the sway bar in place, and fits the 370z bar size.

Warranty claims will be sending me a brand new Front Sway Bar because i had to drive "bushing-less" for 300 miles, with the bar rattling over every f*ing bump.

Results
  • A+ Whiteline customer service
  • C- product design

New bar and DIFFERENT bushings are on their way, free of charge.
