Your tint guy is incompetent. The tint is not going far down enough and there is a piece of rubber in there that catches and you get what you have.

Take your door panel off and then remove the window seal. Shine a flashlight down in there and you'll see what is catching the tint. Leave the seal off and reinstall your door panel and reset the power window. Take it back to the tint shop, tell him to pull his head out of his *** and let him know you made his job very easy for him and to get the tint way down in there. Give it a few days and re-install that window seal.

Been there done that. Had someone else do my 2014 and no problems.
