Default "WipeNew" Product writeup with pics!

Hey everyone.. So I searched the forums a lot and tried to find a write up on this new product I have been seeing a lot lately.. It's called "WipeNew" basically you can apply this product to plastic surfaces on your car that have faded away due to the sun and have become "dull" if you will and bring back their shine and color.. So I did some digging and read some reviews and watched some videos and went out and bought it at my local Walmart store for ~15 + tax.. Below is my review on this product.

Now I have a 2010 40th Anniversary, which I try to keep clean all the time and make sure it looks like new to the best of my ability. However, despite my efforts I have noticed that some of the plastic parts in the front near the fangs and by the mirrors have began fading and seem gray and dull. Now if this was a white, yellow, red or blue Z I probably wouldn't have cared this much due to the contrast between the plastic parts and the paint color but since it is a 40th I feel like all the people who have dark colored Z's, or anyone else who has a car or truck that doesn't want these plastic pieces sticking out would like to use this product.

These pictures are off my iPhone 5s and it has a decent camera but the pictures don't do justice on how well this product works.

Okay so lets get to it..

First of all you get this WipeNew kit.. It includes a 1.5oz bottle (but they claim it can do a whole car filled with plastic panels like jeeps and trucks) some small microfiber cloths and nitrite gloves which are necessary because this product smell is very strong and is a pain to get off your skin you also get a set of instructions on how to prep your product and a small black detailing applicator to get in those "tough to reach" spots.

This first picture is a before pic of my driver side mirror and how it looked before I started cleaning it or rubbing it down with the product.

Cleaning the black plastic, soap was drying off bc my garage was pretty hot so I had to take a picture quick.

This picture is of the passenger mirror plastic before cleaning.

Finished with the drivers side and the passengers side. Pictures were taken about 30 mins later after application.. Note these pictures were at night and I could've done this in the day time but the lightings in the before picture is the same as the after picture and no effects were made in any of these photos to enhance the look so you can see that the product has worked.

Lastly this is the picture of before and after of the fang pieces. My fangs are plasti dipped so the pieces I wanted to rub down were the ones that are long parallel pieces between the fangs and also, my chin spoiler.

Notice the shine and bold color on the pieces between the two fangs.

Overall, I would give this product a 8/10
It worked well and I barely used any of it on the z with these small pieces and I can used it on the engine covers as well; however, the price for a 1.5 oz bottle for almost 20 bucks kinda sucks, and the fumes from the bottle were a bit irritating. Other then that, it was great! I hope this helps.. Maybe some of you will try this out if you find that it may help with the Z or any other cars/trucks you might have.

Thanks for viewing
