Hi Asheth,

Correct me if I misinterpereted your post but 2009 uses Consult Nissan software to load Map updates to the Navi HD. My Nissan Stealership quoted me around 125.00 to load a 99 dollar map purchase with Consult. I declined. At times I'm tempted but I use Navi so rarely right now it's not a wise investment.
Besides if they screw the install up, I'm out 200+ dollars and I'm sure they will NOT replace the Navi unit in my car and admit it's their fault if something went wrong. I'm sure in my area they've never done an update with Consult on 2009 Navi, so I'd be the guinea pig.
