Default First AutoX event

Competed in my first AutoX event yesterday. I ran in novice (c-street) and there were 14 in the novice class. My first run was the fastest (pax) of any of the novice and put me in 1st. On the second pass I ran about the same time but had moved into 2nd, and after to morning runs I was still in second. My goal for the day was just not to get lost on course but after my first run a lot of the info I learned at the Evo school came back and I knew where I was making my mistakes and thought I knew what to do to correct it.

We ended up skipping lunch because of some storms moving into the area and I was in the second run group. I had adjusted my air pressures some and my first run I felt like I had a lot better grip. The next run I pushed it just a little harder and beat my fastest time by almost 2 seconds, and that run moved me to 1st place. Then the lightening started and they stopped the event. Once the storm arrived it was over.

Since everyone in the last run group didn't complete all of the runs they moved the timing back to the last full round, which moved me back to 2nd. The killer is after my run that moved me into 1st, that driver already had completed all of their runs. Oh well, I'll get 'um next time.
