Smile Music

So I just got done reading some interesting articles about music and audio. I sort of got inspired to write one myself. Enjoy

One of the articles I read.
What is Music Trying to Express?

Music....what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Ask any number of people and you will receive a different answer. For myself it brings memories, happiness, heart felt feelings. As one said "Music is the universal language that we speak" Times change and so does music and peoples taste in music. Some people will argue that rap and those that are associated with rap are not really music. But what are you and I to judge what someone else might enjoy. We all have different tastes and that is what makes us unique.

In today's world we rarely ever slow down for ourselves nor others. I find myself trying to include music listening sessions with my study time. For music I think that we should be able to sit and enjoy it. Not just in traffic or in your local coffee shop but at home on your system "if that is what you use" You can listen to the same music 4 different times in 4 different places and have 4 different feelings. Some songs you have to be in the mood for others you can not wait to hear again. But the sad fact is that yes we enjoy music but in today's world with people downloading compressed copies and not caring about bit rates or hurting the artists sales; it saddens me. Where did the quality go? Where did the enjoyment go? Some will point at mp3 players and the main culprit the ipod and the crappy ear buds that are included. Others will point at the P2P networks. But I look at the people, they have a choice to what and how they listen to music. So next time you are in your car listening to your favorite song.......enjoy it and maybe pick up that album, and try to make time to sit and relax to your music. Because in the end that is what music.....is all about.
