That said, are there any supercars that have managed to hit 0-100 KM/0-62 MPH in under 2.5 seconds?
Rather than horsepower (i.e., torque over time), that seems like the real hurdle -- getting past the problem of making peak torque quickly and putting it to the ground effectively.
