I have 31,000 daily driven miles on my 2010 370Z. I bought it new in late 2010.

1. No payments, I paid cash for my car
2. Insurance isn't bad for me at all
3. If I was so poor I couldn't afford gas then I'd probably rethink my life choices, this is of zero concern to me.
4. 2 seats is not an issue for me, ever. I don't want or need more seats.
5. See #3
6. Cabin space gets annoying. Sometimes I think about my next daily driver being something with more room. I do wish I could easily transport my road bike, my rifles and range gear, my golf clubs (what a hassle in the Z), etc
7. The noise levels annoy me, but very rarely.
8. Unwanted attention? I get the occasional kid in a Civic who wants me to drive as stupidly as they are, but otherwise I don't think my car gets much attention. It's not exactly rare, or high end.
9. No S.O. but girls I date generally don't like the car. Some do, most don't. They all like my motorcycle, though.

I think that if the cost of insurance, gas, rear tires, etc. is of a real concern to someone, maybe that person made a mistake buying the car in the first place. These should all be considerations when determining whether we can "afford" a car, not just "can my broke *** make the monthly payment without getting the car repo'ed?"
