Yeah, even though it says you don't have to appear in court you should call the municipal courthouse and tell them you want to plead not guilty. Go to Court and talk to the prosecutor and say you don't want any points and you'll have to pay the b/s fees. But its worth it cause you won't get points. You need to be careful when giving advice, most magistrates hate that bc people do that to see if the cop shows up. Im in court atleast twice a week and depending on the magistrate he will either make you go to trial or if you plead no contest they will still give you a high fine for waisting the courts time
