hahaha. i remember going to some interview over 2 decades ago where this japanese chick wanted to verify my english speaking skills. she comes into the conference room and she introduced herself... and said she had "an amewican hazband". so i nearly cracked up and said "Tweety!"
and she was like 'huh?

so i was like oh? dat wasn't a joke to test my american cultural skillz?
so being polite, i asked the lady in my native english 'oh, so your husband is american.' and she goes 'yes, my hazband is amewican.'
blahahaha!!
