The Storm 2 is out, with "updated" hardware, it is an ok bump but nothing major. In
my personal opinion, Android (the operating system on droid) is going to be the next big thing. Windows mobile might be able to make a comeback but it will not be until Windows Mobile 7 next summer, a little too late I think.
