Question for those who drive out of state to get dyno tuning.

Isn't it ideal to get tuned in the environment you are at? Utah has a different elevation, weather, humidity etc than California. So when tuning consummates it's being tuned to the conditions where it at. Then when you reach a different destination, it doesn't run the right way. So for those who get tuned in relatively different climates than the ones of their home. What has happened?

Because for all the military who had stateside tunes and brought their vehicles here. They tuning and performance was out of whack and needed a retune.

For example out elevation here is 479 above sea level at the track here and humidity is around 90 and temps averaging from 78-95+ degrees on average with a DA of 2,338ft. When cars come here with different tunes that were running great in the mainland, end up having to get retuned via e-tune. Just wondering...
