The glass will be fine from the bass, I have seen a lot more bass than a single sub put in cars with stock glass not breaking. The reason for the sub to aim back and not forward is because it allows the bass to reverberate off the back and than come at you. If you had it forward than it would reverberate off the front and go to the rear. You will get some vibration DEPENDING ON HOW YOU TUNE IT, you can set your gain to make the sub really hit or have it actually go along with the music. If you are worried about vibration I would say look for a smaller amp or make sure to turn your gain down.
