It is hard to quantify how much better they are with one number. Basic numbers are: 20% Stronger/Stiffer and 20% Lighter. In testing they proved to be significantly better than their previous designs.



In Formula 1 the calipers stayed below 150 degrees C in most race conditions. In AP's extremely harsh testing which you can read about on the website in the first post. The AP Radi-CAL's did not exceed the 180 degree C mark. 210 degree C level is the threshold for caliper and system failure.
