Your observations on the perils of summer tires in near-freezing an below temperatures are quite astute though. Seriously? Summer tires in cold and snow are dangerous? Wow.
Ive been daily driving my Z this winter and what a winter its been here in NJ. Even when its dry its been soooo cold and summer tires + 5 degrees + punching 3rd or even 4th on the highway= SIDEWAYS. Don't even get me started on the snow. Cant count the number of days Ive taken off already.
