Knock on wood, my '09 has far fewer issues than my '03 350Z. Burning oil? Not at all even with the turbos since 22k. Steering wheel lock? Simply pull the fuse or have the dealer replace it with an updated one. As for clutch hydraulic issues, it can affect any model year because they use the same part. However, they switched to DOT 4 fluid, which seems to have alleviated the issue. Still, it's better to ditch the cruddy OEM master and slave cylinders for aftermarket ones and use DOT 4 synthetic.

Also, all years shred tires at will.
