Default Be careful with rental car company

If you guys ever get a rental car through insurance or third party, please use a credit card that doesn't have a high credit limit or change your card number after you are done. Apparently the rental car company can use the card you left for incidental as the method of payment if there is any dispute between the insurance company/third party and the rental car agency. I made the mistake of trusting Citibank to take care of it, yet they said they have no power to do anything as the customer is responsible for any charges not picked up by third parties even if you don't agree with the charge or even made the reservation for it. I am currently short $502 bucks + interest because of this stupid rules, just a warning to all who might have to get a car rental in the future.
