I'd first check the connector under the seat and make sure the contacts are clean and the connector plugged in properly. If that didn't fix the problem, I'd disassemble and clean the latch assembly, paying particular attention to the switch. Next, I'd inspect/test the wiring from the latch to the BCM. The FSM (link in my sig) will be very helpful for all the above. If none of that fixed the problem, I'd head for the dealer.
