Default 370Z Build Year and Month on Door Sticker?

Can someone wiser than I confirm two things for me?

1. Is it correct that the build date (M/Y) for one's Z is listed as "DATE" on one of the stickers in the door and therefore, for all warranty matters, provided you are within the limits based on that date (and ODO), you are covered?

Specifically, mine says "DATE: 11/10", which I am interpreting as October, 2011.

2. If my reasoning is correct, does this mean I am good until Sept 30 (meaning screwed Oct 1st) of year XXXX for various warranties or Oct 31st (meaning don't try and get warranty work done Nov 1st).

Probably a dumb couple of questions, but if someone could verify #1 and clarify #2, I'd greatly appreciate it

EDIT: Wait, no, it must have been built November 2010... it's a 2011 model, so does 36 month warranty run out on Jan 1, 2014???

How does one determine this???

EDIT #2:

Okay, According to Nissan "the warranty date begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyer or put into use, whichever comes first".

I'm not the original owner -- I guess that's on my title or carfax?
