I went for a washing today and it was the Twilight Zone. Get this. All I had on my car was LEAF DUST. Yup, there is a huge oak tree that is over my car and it droppped a few dozen leaves last night. I have 146 trees so there is no getting away from them. Anyway I saw the leaves and the dust that comes with them on the car. As I drove away the leaves blew off but a small amount of dust remained. So I went to the "Touchless Car Wash."
This thing, for $9, shoots water and "Lazer Washes" your car without touching it. Plenty of foam and water and spray, and a blow dry on the way out. And as I get out and into the sun guess what? Not only is the leaf dust still on the car, it is now STUCK to the car from the high water pressure! It looks like there was an atom bomb that went off and everything was burned unless it was covered and then what covered it was burned into the object. Seriously! Now I need another car wash, a BETTER one, to get the impregnated dust! Yes I got my $9 back.
