Default Fog light alternative

So, I have read many d.i.y.'s on the rear light, and decided that ther just has to be a better way, this is what i came up with.
1. I purchased two "prostrobe" white lights from my local store
2. I had a led strip light leftover from another project
3. I bought a small roll of wire 18g for the project

Remove the blank there are two nuts that can be difficult! There are many many threads that include ideas on there removal, I suggest you heat them it seems to work for most.

Very carefully pry the lens cover off the blank use a small screwdriver it comes off easily.
Drill a hole large enough for your wires to pass through . There is an area on the housing that looks as if it is where the plug would go that's where I drilled.
I mounted the lights and passed the wires thru the hole then marked them accordingly
1 strobe for reverse
1 strobe for brake
1 flex strip for running lights

Make sure to keep you polarity correct, I connected all the grounds from the lights to one wire, then made a short loom to reach the driver side taillight and tapped the wires accordingly there, attached the ground to the grounding spot inside the hatch and done, no relays, no flashers, no wires to the console or fuse panel, and I have a great looking flasher for reverse, one for braking, and an unobtrusive running light, hope this helps someone!
