Honestly, don't touch anything! You are going to screw yourself bad if you mess with anything. That means that if it was tampered with Nissan is going to turn you away.

Leave it as is, bring it in. If they turn you away or want you to pay for the work, then troubleshoot it yourself.

Last thing is for you to mess something up, then bring it in....then after that we see a thread by you saying how shotty your dealer was. Troubleshooting it yourself should be the last resort if you are within warranty.
