Default DIY Request: Brake Bleed

Can someone who has bled the brakes on their Sport 370Z please give me a quick rundown on the nuances or challenges? I'd like to do this in the very near future, but obviously don't want to have any major problems in my own garage.

***Saw the DD DIY brake line change with the section on brake bleeding (after posting this...thought it was just a brake line change and didn't read to the bottom). Quick question: Does the car need to be running to bleed the brakes or can it be done with the car 'off'?
