Default Dent question

I have no idea how this happened, but I just noticed 2 small dents in the plastic panel beneath the door sill. If it was metal it would be easy to pound out. Is there any way to do something similar on plastic? Pisses me off because I don't know how it happened. It would be impossible to have been hit by another car without damaging the door above. About the only thing I can think of is I do go down a street from time to time that has large speed bumps. Maybe the car bottomed out there and it twisted the plastic panel. I have no clue.
