Sure. Drilled holes then used a cut off wheel on my drill...

Then used a sanding stone to smooth the edges and debur. On the inside I used dikes to cut the reenforcement back an inch so I get room to glue the mesh to.

I also laid down a strip of metal as a guide for the wheel so my lines where straight. You can see it in the pic in post 11.
