Well it costs money to continue to produce a car. They originally planned on 30k units, they dropped that to 10k units. If gas prices go back to $4/gal in the US, and nobody buys cars that get 18-19mpg, and Nissan continues to bleed money like they've done the past 2 years, which cars do you think would get cut first? GT-R and 370Z?

The Titan and Armada are beautiful trucks, but man did they put the screws to Nissan. Very bad timing.

As for 35mpg CAFE, Nissan just announced four electric vehicles. That should keep the corporate CAFE up and hopefully keep the Z in the lineup..........
