@SuperDave: So I just checked the pipes and it looks like the muffler section will bolt onto it but I can't say with any certainty whether or not it will position the hangers in the right place. Sorry it's not more help. =\

On the plus side it seems like someone is actually selling a set of short tails if you're interested: AAM short tail for sale
