Eh, it's always a crapshoot there. If you're using your fists it's because you do not have a reasonable fear of loss of life, so you don't have a lot of the protections of self defense laws. If someone dies under those circumstances, it could get legally iffy. Not to mention civil liability. I'll pass on the fisticuffs unless the other guy agrees to sign a waiver and hold harmless agreement, and we have some grass to fight on. Parking lot concrete is unforgiving.

All of that is assuming it's a one on one altercation. In a world absent of legal repercussions, let's go. If it's me vs. you and all of your friends we have a different situation that fits the definition of "reasonable fear of loss of life" very cleanly.

That being said, I'm not one to advocate using a gun. I've got them, I shoot competitively, carry daily and will not hesitate if my safety or that of my family is threatened. But a lot of people here seem to misunderstand when to use it. If mine comes out it's because I think I'm about to be killed. That's it.
