I suspect that you are really are going to freak (I can think of many better words than "freak" but this is a family forum) a lot of people out with this sort of conversion. A lot of people spent a lot of money to buy a Nismo and will not take kindly to someone creating a knock-off Nismo.

I had a 1999 Camaro SS. Chevy was very protective of the SS brand and made you prove that you actually owned an SS before they would sell you any SS specific parts. As an SS owner I appreciated how Chevy protected the SS brand.

I once owned a very sharp modified white '66 Mustang 2+2. It had a Shelby style hood scoop and the pony and cross bar were removed from the grill but all the Mustang 2+2 badging remained and it did not have any GT 350 badging or striping. Never the less I was constantly asked if it was a Shelby, over time I got really tired of explaining that it was my interpretation of what a 2+2 should be not Shelby's. My suggestion is don't do a Nismo clone, make your own custom Z, you'll be happier in the long run.
