Default Would you give up SEX or your CELLPHONE for 1 year?

Study: Hub residents would give up sex, not cell phones - BostonHerald.com

Quote:
As a measure of how essential cell phones have become to daily living, 31 percent of men and women in Boston would give up sex for a year rather than forfeit their telephones for the same amount of time, according to a study released this morning.
When it came to the battles of sexes, 38 percent of Boston women were more willing than men to lose their libidos versus missing their mobile phones. Only 19 percent of men said they would be celibate.
The study, commissioned by Samsung Mobile, was conducted by Kelton Research and included 300 cell phone users in Boston. It found several other patterns in how Bostonians use their cell phones in their daily life including:

A majority, or 81 percent, of Boston cell phone users are regular text messagers. In fact, more than a third or 37 percent said they prefer texting to communicate instead of having a phone conversation.
Perhaps one reason for their text-over-talk preference is the desire to save sentimental text messages in their phone’s in-box - 46 percent of people polled - more so than those that contain informational value. Fifty-six percent of Boston women are more likely to keep a sentimental message on their cell phones than their male counterparts at 30 percent, the survey said.
The study also found that the average Boston cell phone user spends three hours each day chatting or using a cell phone’s text, picture and video messages, among other features. For those who spend a full eight hours asleep each night, nearly 20 percent of their time awake would be spent on their phones.
Which can you live WITHOUT for one year????
