Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - Replacing the oil temp gauge and sensor with aftermarket one

I will be replacing the stock gauge with an aftermarket one.
Does anyone know if I can just pull the stick oil temp sensor out and replace it with the after market one, or will the car go into limp mode because the ECU will not be seeing oil temps?
