The connection at the firewall between the hardline and the flex line should be the same for both vehicles (sport/base). You purchased Goodridge SS flex lines that run from the firewall hard line connection to the caliper. It sounds like you got the wrong Goodridge lines, you definitely need the version for the sport caliper. They should bolt right up.

On the factory setup there is some additional hardline that goes from the caliper to the upright, this is all replaced by the SS lines in the upgrade.
