High temp paint isn't needed. Powder coating would probably be tougher (I've got lots of rock chips in mine) You've just got to make sure the fins don't get coated too thick.

I have many reason's for moving stuff.
1) Moving the battery is a nice mod, and it opens up a lot of space in the engine bay that is otherwise occupied.

2) I hate the location of the fuse box's. Like why nissan? You have to take the battery out to access most of them.

3) I really like clean engine bays. Not the overdone, "shaved everything and bondo'd" looking all fake. Just clean.

4) Other crap I'm moving for more space and avoiding heat soak and other factors. I'll leave some of the detail's out for pictures to fill you in.
