Either that, or get one of those 12v plug in seat heating pads for the winter. I didn't want the Touring for the crappy Bose system, but the heated seats are worth an extra cost.

I hadn't even thought about the fact that heated seats would have been the least of your concerns when you bought the car.
They're delightful, though, and you can certainly add them, and for not too great a cost, I believe.
