If you properly prep and clean the area you are dipping it will stick that much better. My door handles are pretty damn good considering they have been dipped for a while now and even through winter they are still holding up. Only a little bit of peel on the inside of the handle.

As for emblems you dont have to take them off to dip them. The hard breaks between the emblem and the body are enough to allow you to peel the excess off... make sure you mask the area good because overspray is a bitch to get rid of.

Clean lines have to be done with a good "heavy" once over coat and then quickly take the tape off otherwise the line will not be clean. There are videos online dipyourcar.com and youtube. The "creator" of the technique just recently did an entire R35 (black on yellow) and it came out pretty damn smooth. He had a lot of hard break lines on that job.

As a last resort you can always take the parts off and send them to mike@thepowdercoater (the metal parts anyway) to get them done permanent! :-)
