Nissan did issue a recall- for the GTR.

This is a cost issue for Nissan above all else.

Them ignoring the problem is unacceptable. We cannot expect to shoulder the burden of a $1k+ repair in hopes that Nissan recognizes the problem in some kind of official capacity. All they have to do is a simple google search to understand how prevalent it truly is.
