I have to say that after having my Z for over 3 years now it still pleasantly surprises me with its power and agility. I still enjoy the straight line performance and know for a fact that it's cornering grip is top notch. I think these days the best feeling I get is properly accelerating out of a corner and feeling the rear end plant while getting up to highway speeds in an instant.

You'll find that a lot of car guys are power hungry and have an innate need to keep pushing the limits and I'm sure their credit card balances reflect that mindset. To each his own... You will enjoy your Z as long as you really want to and can do it without destroying the car or going to jail.
