I think it's also the fact that its now double adjustable instead. Being able to adjust compression and rebound independently is a must for higher level racers, or any performance oriented driver for that matter. Plus it's hard to get it to the point where each click yields the matching results in compression/rebound across the shocks (or left and right side match at least).
