The 87 camaro IROC-Z is the car i missed in my ownership experience. My friend had one though and it was a blast to drive. I remember how these bad muthaf***az sounded off the lot. Damn!!!! Why don't cars sound like that anymore???
While the 80's was a sucky time for GM build quality and suspensions. It was an awesome time for high performance motors and transmissions. The Gm 4 speed auto's were very exciting for the time. You couldn't manually shift them without buying an expensive & complicated shift kit BUT, those things shifted themselves like pro's. The first of the exciting autos were in camaros, corvettes, monte carlo's and regal T-ype and grand national.
