My Z is a DD some of the time and some time not,
I travel for work, so sometimes I drive the Z sometimes not. But I can tell you when I get back in it I enjoy it. I bought mine in Oct 2012, it now has 23K on it, most of it long distance driving and I would not change my thoughts on it in a minute. I have been there with selling other cars and I wished I would have had a place to park them. Had a 70/71 240Z, sold it no time for TLC (almost cry every time it comes up on the screen saver), just sold my 91 Mustang GT in June, miss that, no place for it and on the road.
Yes it costs, but it so much to drive and have fun with it.
Best advice from others, park, change insurance, or if its a weekend car talk to the insurance company about leisure car or something, it does work.
