If its anything like the 3M stuff it’ll leave a white residue which you can’t get off the car. The 3M stuff comes on a sponge and makes application extermely easy.
Whichever route you go you need to test fit and mask the area of the bumper where you don’t want adhesion. I used regular blue painters tape and that worked great.
