My thinking...

30k Under normal driving
15k Severe duty (if I remember my manual correctly)
Heard there's a lot of metal shavings the fist couple of changes

My driving is not severe duty but not average either, maybe 20-25k range. Figured I'd do the first 2 a little conservative and then move to the 30k intervals once the early life wear is over. 30k is probably way overkill anyway.

4+3 quarts was somewhere around $85.
