Default Best 0-60 (1/8 mile) / (1/4 mile) times with 2013 7SP AT

Greetings,

I just purchased a 2013 370z Turing with NAV, Spot Suspension and 7-speed AT. My question is, for best 0-60 / 1/8 mile and ¼ mile times, do I paddle shift or let the CPU do the gear slamming. I find that the CPU is really well calibrated. There is no way anyone cal paddle the trans up to 7k and not hit the rev limiter in every gear with full-on (peddle to the metal) full power-band accelerations. I had a 2003 350Z (for 10 years) with a 6 speed MT and there was no way I could push it this hard w/o hitting the rev limiter. Also, letting the CPU do the drag shifts, should the TC be “on” or “off”? I want to keep the 0 -60 times below 5 sec. For canyon carving, paddles are obviously better to play with the power bands. This is for the Stangs / Cameros, Challengers, Beemers that think they own it in a straight line (on a sanctioned licensed NHRA tracks of-course…)

Thanks for you input. I am still learning this 7sp AT and how to squeeze the most of it.
