I will try take a picture tomorrow its midnight here in the land down under lol. products i tried were a turtle wax colour polish dad bought and then tried with my Meguires ultimate compound. the pad used was just the standard buff pad that came with the buffer.
And yes the engine was toast was around 5k to blue print and rebuild to spec since kia sent sh*t motors to Aus in the Karnival.
Best way I can think to describe it is that the paint looks oxidized really badly
