There are a couple ways to remove bird stains from paint. I would try first to use something like Adam's Claybar and Adam's Detail Spray as a lubricant for the claybar. If you caught it fresh enough, chances are it's not too far into your clear coat....yet. Key with any bird bomb is to get it fresh...I know that sounds gross.

If the claybar didn't remedy it, then you will need to polish it out, and if the polish didn't get it, may be time to wet sand. I am talking extreme instances here. I mean, if you caught it as early as you say you did, I tend to think Claybar will do the trick.
