Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - Official Hurricane "Sandy" thread. Are you guys okay along the (North) EAST COAST?

It's been a very stressful last few days for us North Eastern residents. Hurricane Sandy has made our life pretty much hel*. Yesterday we were told to evacuate(mandatory) our home. I'm typing this post from a hotel room far away from home with a wifi connection that keeps going on and off

. Hurricane Sandy doesn't hit our city till 8p-midnight tonight but we are going to see the strongest wind since our city falls right in the center of Sandy

. Here's picture taken few minutes ago. Sandy tore off part of the Boardwalk and it's flooding everywhere in my city and the hurricane is not even in my city yet! It's about 300 miles away.

35 foot section of boardwalk floating down 15 blocks from my house

We are also looking at DAYS of power outage after the hurricane leaves.

How are you guys doing along the east coast?
