Not trying to be an a$$, but as a US territory,
PR shouldn't be much more expensive to ship USPS than any other distant US state. I got a quote to Guam that was less than $50 to ship a spare tire. It wound up costing just about $37 to ship it to Maryland. FedEx and UPS, of course, were wicked high to ship to a US territory.
