yup, normal noises. the 2nd gear shifting noise is probably the diff moving a little bit. it's meant to do that (that which does not bend, will break kinda thing). making sure to push the clutch all the way in for that shift may help. also, double check your brake master cylinder and slave cylinder fluid levels, if you are a little low on clutch fluid you may not be getting full pressure on the throw out bearing so the clutch would be slightly more engaged than it should be causing the transmission to "clunk" into gear, tho i would think if that were the problem it would be noticeable on most gears
