. My first guess is that you knocked a wire or connector loose. I haven't looked at the wiring diagrams, but wouldn't be at all surprised if there are actually two (or more) switches driven by the single request button; the [un]lock solenoid switch works, but the alarm deactivate switch doesn't. I'd check the connector on the back of the request button panel. Here's hoping someone comes up with an easier solution.
